The Crypt Keeper Podcast is hosted by two self-proclaimed quirky cryptid experts who expertly blend comedy, lore deep dives, and listener encounters into a binge worthy paranormal show. Initially chaotic, hosts Evan Graves and Milo Stroud have evolved their production into a polished, investigative experience without losing their high energy charm.
The CKP team needed a brand identity that could walk the line between campy fun and serious supernatural storytelling. They wanted a visual system bold enough to mirror their personalities, professional enough to attract new listeners, and distinctive enough to hold its own in a crowded podcast landscape.
I crafted a neon soaked identity inspired by 90’s monster retro, vintage paranormal aesthetics, and modern bingeable podcast design. The goal was to make their personality jump off the screen instantly.
I was able to do so by creating a logo suite, podcast cover art, episode thumbnails, a social media template collection, a full icon set, and merch concepts by leaning into the show’s campy meets professional personality. TCK’s new world of branding is built of deep purples, acidic greens, and playful eerie shapes. The icon set (featuring Bigfoot silhouettes, Mothman wings, and alien motifs) anchors the entire identity. Typography mixes clean expertise with nostalgic weirdness, creating a look that feels both credible and delightfully offbeat.
The result is a visually magnetic brand that communicates, “Pop in your headphones, press play, and prepare to binge.”
Bold. Fun. Absolutely unmistakable.
